Just checking in to see if Freak has warmed up to Kelly, yet. He has taken a nice step forward in his young career. Cleveland was the best game yet.

Staley on 4th down...........take it one game at a time. Donkos have a better than advertised defense. Plenty of field goal chances. Staley needs to be rubbing Hopkins groin right now.
Trust me.

Hopefully he'll get more and more reps as the season moves forward. Sony is/was done. One of these days, we'll get a look at Spiller... The OL is gelling finally. Salyer is a pleasant surprise. I'm choosing to be optimistic about our chances this year. There is no dominant team this year.

The Bills ran the score up on deeply flawed Rams, Titans, and Steelers. Squeaked by the Ravens. And only scored 19 vs Miami defense. Philly has played no one. I suspect their defense isn't championship level. 49ers offense is pedestrian. I guess we'll get to see against 49ers.

The Bills Vs. KC will tell us everything we need to know…. Both those teams are better than us, straight up. We’ll have to play a flawless game against either of them in the playoffs if we’re there.

The Chargers actually outplayed the Chefs in Week 2, and outplayed them last December at SoFi. The Chargers don’t need to play flawless to beat the Chefs - they have to avoid the massive blunder / make the play when it’s presented to them. That is what cost them W’s in each of 2020 (missed 48 yard FG to win the game while KC made two 58 yarders to tie & win the game), 2021 & 2022 (three INT’s lost through drops & horrific ref call & failure to take out a gassed player that resulted in one game changing play). They need to develop the killer instinct & put away games with a dagger 🔪

That's for sissies.

Killer instinct and playing a flawless game is roughly the same thing…. But KC lost and are mortal, get after Mahomes and disrupt him. We need a pass rush we seem to have lost…. Defense gotta do better.
