Okay, it’s time to risk it all. No matter the beyond-parody parade of injuries that’s been as steady as a conga line for the past two months, I’m putting my neck on the line to bring the OGDT back into action in this must-win game where the Chargers are clearly the underdogs. KA, MDub & Everett better all be in the lineup and need to be playing all four quarters (or more if necessary), the running game needs to produce something and the oline needs to give Herbie enough time to push it down the field. Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!! If we lose tonight, y’all get to choose the length of time I get sent to Cabo – or Red Deer if you prefer. That’s what kind of giver I am. 2 mediocre teams playing each other... This was an expected win for us and we barely won, also as predicted. Kyler Murray is overrated and overpaid while Herbert keeps showing he has HoF potential written all over him. Unless Staley can make a deep playoff run we NEED to give Herbert a better team from the front office down. TT can't do it, Staley can't do it, and these coordinators can't do it.
Good win though.

I knew we had them on the team! Defense played great in the 4th. Got 3 straight 3 and outs. Kept giving us chances. We got some help from the refs today. Overturned that INT, awarded Bandy a fumble recovery when they wrestled it from him in the pile. Big plays at the end to win it by our money guys Keenan and Ek. Lombardi completely abandoned the run and let Herbert play. Got it done with 2 OL out including g Linsley the entire second half |
