The battle for LA with a rejuvenated Baker mayfield is a better game. Baker likes playing in SoFi. He’s 3 for 3 with excellent performances over the past two seasons. Baker looked pretty good yesterday.......should be a solid challenge for the Charger D.

Baker is better than he gets credit for.

Baker is better than he gets credit for. I agree, and that HC he has now knows exactly how to use Baker effectively.

Baker is better than he gets credit for. He sucks. He's a Diva. His Browns teammates quit on him. The Panthers are 10x better after they shuttled him. The fact that he had a good game against a team that has completely given up carries no weight with me.

However; McVay will have the rams ready to play. It will still take our best effort to get a win.

Maybe I'm reading into it too much based off frustration but that just doesn't sound good... It absolutely sucks having our 2 highest paid players not even playing. Bosa and Jackson.

Bosa will be practicing this week. It's a matter of when they decide to play him (not if) based on how to have him best prepared for the playoffs IMO (i.e., does he need regular season game time, or get him ready in practice for the playoffs). From what I have noticed in camp practices the past few years, Bosa shouldn't need much (if any) regular season play time in order to be ready for gameday. The guy is quirky as hell and both he and his brother are like finely tuned race cars where parts break and disable the vehicle, but Bosa is absolutely meticulous in the way he prepares himself for action whether it be preseason practice or warming up for games. With the way that Van Noy has exploded the past few weeks, adding Bosa to the mix will likely take the defense to another level.

If he plays it will be sparingly over the next two weeks. Is the guy even running? Granted, just having him in, means teams will need to adjust. with the rest of the playing up, it can only be good.

Bosa isn't practicing, but I have read that he has been on the field the past couple of weeks working on individual skills that would include running. Next step is practice participation, and I expect it to be limited this week. He's unlikely to have a full work load anytime soon, but adding him to the mix is going to be very helpful IMO.

Surgically repaired groin? We see it often in Ice Hockey, especially goalies, and once the player is cleared to practice even slightly, it is rare to see an issue with the repair. It is much more about gaining a sense for game speed on shots. Bosa only has to go eat the opposing QB.....he will be ready when they need him.

Bosa is a paycheck player to me now. He stretched this recovery way past the normal return date. Doesn’t sit well with me for the highest paid defensive player on the team and top 2 or 3 in the league. I also soured a bit on Derwin. He goes out and coincidentally the team plays its best defense. Comes back and has back to back 15 yard penalties and concussed himself. Smh

He’s the best QB the Rams have had this year not named Stafford and is playing for his football life with a coach who gets him. We need to be ready because the Rams can still play good defense

Smh Mack will feed. 3 sacks in Game 1 and 1 sack against Mahomey with Bosa on the other side while Bosa had 1.5 sacks against the Raiders and a TFL against the Chefs. One injury that I never had was a torn groin. I had no idea that 2 & 1/2 months was way past the normal return date for groin surgery - perhaps Disc can chime in on what his experience is with that injury regarding players' return dates. EDIT: Nick Bosa tore his groin at Ohio State. 10-12 weeks sounds like a normal timeline. Former Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa is in line to be ready to take part in workouts prior to the 2019 NFL draft.
According to Alex Marvez of SiriusXM NFL, Bosa's father, John Bosa, said Thursday that his son is in the midst of a 10- to 12-week recovery from groin surgery.
Bosa underwent the procedure last month, meaning he could be healthy by December.

In reference to James: you left unmentioned the one unbelievable interception. Hopefully the hit & ejection serves as a learning experience - he doesn't need to do it all himself. Just play it straight.
