Chris Simms is un-watchable. Dude was given so much (pedigree) and did nothing with it (NFL flop). He is the living example of Chargering... Yea he sucked on the field…. Kellen Moore was an NFL flop as well but seems to be doing “ok” as an OC…. Simms rant on analytics was still hilarious and its up to the Chargers to prove ALL the media wrong. I'll take your word for it...

I think Simms analysis of the Chargers is spot on.

I'll take your word for it... If you didn't even watch it we have nothing to discuss. Alright, just for you my friend... Chris Simms was really impressed by the Chiefs defense against the Broncos. Really...? the BRONCOS!!! Then he skims over the fact that the Chiefs offense hasn't looked great... I'd respect him more if he just came right out and said it. "I hate the Chargers... I always have. I can't explain it... I just hate them." Here's the deal... and I can say this because I've watched Chargers v Chiefs game most of my life... The game will probably be close... Simms won't admit it... but the Chargers defense is improving every week. Rolling with JCJ was a HUGE risk. Almost nobody returns to what they were pre patellar injury. He wasn't even a very good fit before he got injured. The run defense is much better this year. Kendricks > Tranquil in almost every facet. SJD was right... Tranquil couldn't handle the green dot. The pass rush is much better this year. The Chiefs have rolled the dice @ot too many times in the last 4 years. I like our matchup there. Where is the Skyy Moore and Kadarius Toney scorn...? Remember when those guys were going to be the next Tyreek Hill...? This game is 100% reliant on Moore's ability to expose the Chiefs defense. This game is 100% reliant on Herbert's ability to find the open receiver. Simms may not see the open receiver (I doubt if he has ever watched a whole Chargers' game)... but I see them ALL THE TIME. If Herbert doesn't throw a 99-yard pick-6 in the 4th quarter... we should be right there... knocking on the door of victory. If Moore can live up to his reputation (creative play-calling, pre-snap motion...) then the offense can expose the paper tiger Chiefs defense. The pass game will open up the run game. How many times has everyone here written that over the years...? Everyone here knows that. Keenan is elite. Palmer proved he's good (better than most WR's taken before him). He stepped up last year when Keenan was out. I'm 100% sure that if Moore/Herbert involve Palmer/Everett/QJ/DD... that the Chargers have a good chance of winning this game. I'm not on TV... so maybe I shouldn't be taken seriously. But I sure as !@#$ have watched a whole Chargers game before.

BTW... making me watch a whole Chris Simms video is cruel and unusual punishment. I'm gonna hit the showers now... so I can wash the stink off.

I think Simms analysis of the Chargers is spot on. I didn't hear any analysis whatsoever. "It's always something with the Chargers" is not analysis. "The Chargers will find someway to lose" is a feeling. If this was a fact, then the Chargers would have finished 0-17 last year... not 10-7. Someone here pointed out... if the Chargers would have kicked a FG in both instances against Cowboys... they would have 6 points to show for their effort. Instead, they went for it both times and got 7 points. Analytics would say 7>6. Analytics would suggest that 4th-and-1 is converted 80+% of the time.

We don't need an analyst to tell us our defense is improving and the Chiefs offense is average at best... The problem is they're winning and we are not. Time to change that this week.
As far as the analytics, what has it gotten us? 2 wins we would have likely lost? I'm not so sure that is a great defense of using it... I honestly don't mind it sometimes, I just don't like the way Staley uses it and I think its a crutch for bad coaching.

Sorta. Everybody uses analytics to come degree. Always have. Getting 11 players on the same page is the problem. Last week, Moore looked like crap. OL couldn't get their act together, motion, aux blocks were crap and Herbert was struggling as a leader and passer. The D played well vs Dal. Anytime we hold a team to 20pts or less should be a W. Hold KC to 20 or less and let's see if Moore and Herbert are any part of what many thought they should be.

If we have any fantasies (and I have plenty) of winning the division then this is a must win game. You don't want a loss and Butterfly Mahomes getting a win here. RISE UP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! REACT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s impressive that you can type and give yourself a handjob at the same time.
