Clay Matthews has agreed to terms with the LA Rams.
GB seems to be going full blown rebuild mode.

Clay Matthews isn't what he was anymore...... Thomas Davis is? I think Clay was too young for us.

Some pretty good bargains can be had, once a player turns 40.

I don't think a starting linebacker is either of those things. If Davis is the starting LB, is that a statement about his awesomeness or the lack of it in the other LB's...... May be the case. He's old but played at a Pro Bowl level the last few years. Obviously not a long term answer, he brings a level of experience, talent, consistency & performance IF he plays at his 2018 level that was not present among LAC LBs last year. Perryman has flashed some talent in games minus the consistency. Nwosu was a talented position change project who needs to step up. White was a talented draft pick who IR'd before the reg season. Brown has good speed, inconsistent talent, struggled with injuries. At the least Davis is a needed mentor that has played at a very high NFL level. At best, he starts at WLB and plays at a very high level again, as he did last year. I'd still look for LB in the draft. The Chargers' LB talent in the 2018 playoffs were inadequate.
