well, I hate the fact the chiefs won, but got to give them credit. really good game, and I felt like the refs were even a little bit in on the side of the 49ers.
Both coaches were great.
but Reid + Mahomes is a dynasty.
Harbaugh, you need to beat those two to get where we want to be.

That would be my first guess… I wonder if Brady or Bill will get the same treatment.
Edit: Julius Peppers also got popped fro PEDS and served a 4 game suspension. Gates must have had his way with a few writers wives or something.
My guess is that Brady is 1st Ballot, despite any related controversies. Belichick most likely as well, but I’d say I’m only about 85% confident in his case.

What a great Superbowl, and not just because I bet on KC either. I hate the red jerseyed devils. But when you beat Tua's offense, Josh Allen at Buffalo, MVP Lamar Jackson at Baltimore, and then the NFC Champs SF, you deserve the trophy. Before I have to shower all of that off myself, that final drive 13 plays for 75 yards and a TD in OT...........big football respect for that.

I think gates was a first ballot lock. When you lead the ALL time statistic for your position that is the most related to winning (TDs), you are in the best of the best conversation.
Brady and BB are locks and they should be but not knowing what tainted gates application leads me to speculate as to why. The PED thing might be the reason but Peppers had a similar history with it. So I have no idea why he was snubbed.

In MYYYYYY world I fully understand. I would put Gates in over Belichick and Brady combined due to complete blind bias. In the real world, Triple B are two GOATS. I can't help that. Don't shoot the messenger.

Brady won 7 super bowls. He had 35 playoff wins and the next closet QB won 16. (Think of that for a minute..........) He played in 48 playoff games. And someone doesn't know if he is first ballot HOF  You have to be freaking kidding me. I have a Brady stat that will absolutely blow your minds so bad you will go to the HOF the day Brady goes in. Ready ? I mean REALLY ready ? Tom Brady played 23 NFL seasons. Crazy right ? He never took a single snap under center that he was mathematically out of the playoffs.
