Now class where are we at with our lessons ? Always follow the money. Late in the year last season raiders beat us 63-21. That is a 84 point total, and a 42 point spread. What does vegas think of MY Harbaugh ? The Chargers are favored by 3.5 points and the total is only 40.5 ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Vegas knows what I know. That is all. Not being a gambler myself, I will need to ask.....is 3.5 not the normal points awarded to the home club? So the odds maker is basically saying it is even, but the home club gets the 3.5, so that will be the difference?

So Vegas thinks the Raiders will only score half a point?? In the betting world, those half points are to avoid ties. So we are favored by 3 for being at home and they thing the Chargers are a half point better team than raiders in this game. If you bet Chargers and they win by a field goal you lose your bet by half a point. But if you bet raiders you win by half a point. Just take the final score and add 3.5 points to the raiders score to determine if your bet won or lost.

If you don't think Harbaugh is motivating with 63 points scored the last game, you are mistaken.

"Gentlemen, I wasn't even here last year and 63 points has me pissed off. They ran up the score on us. They have been rubbing our faces in it too. I mean, if that doesn't motivate you nothing will ! I have the goddamn ownership group calling me daily about that game ! The freaking secretaries are still mad from last December !!! So I have an idea. How about you snap on those helmets a little extra tighter this week. Make sure you have a tight cup on. Then go smash these bastards right in the face !!! How about we do that !! "
