That raider defense is special, this game took a don't blink attitude to win and we got it from Harbaugh.
Roman surprised me with the McConkey TD play at the end. I mean super conservative HC , super conservative OC, run the ball kick the FG would be the play 99% predictable.
Our Defense did awesome. 71 total rushing yards, and under 300 passing with about 50 of that in garbage time. We took the ball away. The Raiders short yardage run game was stopped so much they they punted late when for sure they go for it if that run game is going.
I am very happy.
Next few games will tell us a bit more about of offense. But today it was good enough to beat a fantastic defense.

I don’t think that either Roman nor Harbaugh are “super conservative”. I don’t buy that narrative. Lamar won an MVP with Roman as his OC. They are run oriented, and want to win in the trenches, and win time of possession. How many chunk plays did we have in the second half? Greg Roman said we want to be rising in the 4th quarter while the defense is tired. We outscored the bad guys 13-3 in the 4th quarter.

This game could have been ugly if the Raiders actually had an offense. We contained Zamir White and Gardner Minshew sucks...

Bowers looked good and will be a star... Still annoyed we couldn't get him and the Raiders did.

This game could have been ugly if the Raiders actually had an offense. We contained Zamir White and Gardner Minshew sucks... Whoa wait a minute. All that was said this offseason is they DID have an offense. White was to be the next star RB. Minshew the gunslinger. Adams and Jakobi Meyers at WR. They have Bowers and Mayer at TE. It's our defense that held them to 10 points. I can't remember a Chargers defense that was stopping 3rd and short and 4th and short like we were yesterday.

It looks like the Raiders and the Chargers will both have top defences.....could make for an interesting loss or two for the Chiefs.

That describes all good players. With injury history......good players without injury history are....well....just good players. Chargers have plenty of talented 'good players' with plenty of injury history. Stay healthy, probably going to win more than they lose, eh Football injuries. Everybody has them. We just never know when the next will come or how bad it will be. If a guy is playing well, he's good 'till he ain't. So far, so good.
