this injury report looks "belichikian" We got an early bye, "limited" more like "resting" makes sense to me. Doesn't prevent you from working out though...

This team doesn't really look any different to me honestly... 4 games into the season and its new players same results and product on the field. I do think it will improve though... and the Harrbaugh effect will pay off.
We still don't attack people... Our oline especially seems to play reactionary and don't attack the defense. We don't oppose our will onto anyone, they get driven back or corraled into a man-pile and then injuries happen. Bosa on the other hand... Soft as butter, it infuriates me he is still on the team... This man is fleecing the Chargers.

Means nothing. A Wednesday report after a bye tells you nothing. The Friday report and game status matter. Do I have to know everything about everything ?

this injury report looks "belichikian" HA. A guys leg could fall off on the field and Harbaugh will tell you "he's working through something."

So coming off the bye week, and facing an AFCW club. This is a must win game, plain and simple. Lose to Denver, and you are not catching the Chiefs, which means any PO's hinge on getting the wildcard slot. Several of you have mentioned Denver's defence is quite good, so the really big question is how healthy are the Charger offence? Another question is will Roman build a good game plan for that Denver defence, a successful game plan? Is The Charger defence healthy, ready to continue the march to a top ten ranking? Is Bosa still broken? I said it earlier, and really believe this is one of those turning points in a schedule, it is a must win game! I think we are 9th now. We are Number 1 in points allowed. We are #1 in fewest points allowed, # 5 in fewest yards. We're easily a top 10 D

I don't think it's any secret that our offense is subpar. Let's discuss the elephant in the room.
Do you think the offense will improve as the season goes on ?
What do you think the problem(s) are ?
What are our needs ?
Discuss

Derwin James (not injury related) and Cam Dicker (illness) are back at #Chargers practice. Joey Bosa (hip) is working off to the side. As I was saying................................

What are our needs ? Discuss No our offense will be average to bad the entire season... I hope Herbert makes it through unscathed. We need TE's above anything else. Our TE's are not receiving threats but that is by design right? Our WR's are young and learning the art of the NFL route. We need leadership and a good vet presence immediately. We need Davante Adams or Amari Cooper in the worst way... Should have kept Slayer.

I would say it more like we need TEs who can find space and catch the ball as well as block. " Should have kept Slayer." Keeping Slayer and letting Bosa walk/trade was the right call. Most all here were saying that last year. It was obvious to everyone but Ortiz I guess. Roman sure changed the offense and not for the better IMO. The improved running game has not helped the passing game at all. Need both. Still early to be asking for coaching changes. My guess is the O/D/ST coordinators remain until end of season 2025. I am not a fan of making in season trades unless we are certain it means a playoff spot. Even then it would depend on the numbers. Do you think adding Adams or Cooper will get us there?

Adams or Cooper would add a more credible threat, we are inconsistent right now and no team has to put their "best CB" on anyone in particular.
Health and a good vet WR would get us a playoff spot IMHO.

What are our needs ? Discuss We need Ws. Our D allows 12.5 PPG avg. I thought 17 ppg on D would be excellent. We're currently NFL #1. (KMA, Staley)
No turnovers, damn few penalty flags. 50/50 R/P done effectively to control the ball, make drives and put points on the board. Mid 20's will be fine (@ 25 ppg avg). We have some ground to make up but I wouldn't change much. Just settle down, execute the team assignment and don't screw it up. Team blocking needs to be clean and effective. It ain't 1 on 1 dammit. Do what we need.

I don't think it's any secret that our offense is subpar. Let's discuss the elephant in the room. Do you think the offense will improve as the season goes on ? What do you think the problem(s) are ? What are our needs ? Discuss Greg Roman has only been successful with an offense that has a bona fide run threat at QB. And Lamar is the best running QB ever. At SF they dropped Alex Smith for Kap and not because Kap is a better passer. I think the plan was for Herbert to run 3-5 designed runs per game. His foot and ankle injuries derailed that. We also lack depth at RB. Gus is washed. Dobbins is all we have. We may see Vidal this week and he needs to be a threat. I think we missed badly on Bowers. Generational TE and QBs best friend. We lack talent at Wr although Ladd has a future, but Roman won't create an interesting passing game any way. So to improve, we need better OL play, health, no dumb penalties and even with that it will be a grind it out slogging offense that's sad to watch.
