Herbert absolutely put on a clinic yesterday. In the first half alone he hit 9 different pass catchers. NINE. The defense is really solid. We have a winning record at 3-2 !!!!!!!!!!!!! Prayers for our Coach. Somebody explain how that was a Donkey TD when the ball went out of the endzone and the guy never got a second foot down ?? You don't need 2 feet down if you have a knee down or an elbow down, etc. but it wasn't a catch. He reached out with one hand but bobbled the ball when his knee hit and then when he grasped it he was out of bounds and the ball hit the ground. I have no good explanation for how that wasn't overturned. Horrible replay review

Horrible replay review this is exactly how I saw ball was moving as he went out of bounds. the knee or the elbow in bounds don't matter if the ball is still moving.
They just wanted to keep it exciting for the kids.

It was most certainly not a TD. I also knew it would stand by the letter of the law. Any idiot with eyeballs knows it wasn't a catch, but I didn't think it was "clear and indisputable" video evidence.
I imagine the on field conversation between the refs went something like: I don't think he caught it did you? Me either. Ok let's play it safe and call it a touchdown, video will bail us out.

I hope they win this Thursday night, but then they get a long rest before playing the Bolts. Nick Chubb coming back soon may help Cleveland, and their defense is solid- but as long as they keep starting Deshaun Watson they are toothless.

I think I saw that the Chargers were the most pass-heavy team of this week!?!?! In an earlier post in this thread, someone said: "Herbert is so good that with him ANY receiver becomes a threat and the passing game can't be overlooked, which creates good running and a balanced offense." I think we saw just that this Sunday against the Broncos, and the success it brings!

So glad Herbert introduced himself to Roman over the bye week

The W at Denver was primarily Chargers coaching. We lost a bunch with Herbert and Rivers throwing the ball there. Minter is kinda special. He's young star in a very good staff. Way to W Bolts!
