Tough loss for Johnny Dawkins and UCF. He played great all game but dropped a sure dunk and missed a put back at the buzzer that would have given them the huge upset over Duke.
Duke got lucky for sure.

I agree, I felt sorry for the UCF team. They played so hard and only bad luck at the end beat them. Even coach K said he felt sorry for them!
It's hard to beat March Madness for excitement.

Unfortunately, UCI burned up all its nitro when staging their 16 point run to briefly take the lead. A young but rapidly improving Ducks squad will move on ... and watch out for them in Louisville!

Dawkins post game locker room speech was something. You could hear players crying and sobbing. Enough to knock the cynic out of anyone |

Lots of time and effort go into their training and practices. They have played for years to get to the big tourney. You drag Duke into the final two seconds, and you have everything to be proud of !

And Duke survives another lucky ending. The kid from Va Tech made one of the worst attempts off the alley oop I may have ever seen at the end.
