Here's 10 of the top remaining free agents available: RB Jay Ajayi WR Michael Crabtree DT Corey LiugetDT Ndamukong Suh DE Ezekiel Ansah DE Muhammad Wilkerson OLB Derrick Morgan LB Jamie Collins CB Morris Claiborne S Eric Berry From your list, I can see Liuget being resigned. 1. He shouldn't cost too much. 2. Good for depth. 3. Already knows the system. 4. My favorite telling sign, his #94 jersey number is still available.

I wouldn't be opposed to re-signing him. And drafting two defensive linemen ( first and last round picks) shouldn't preclude his return considering the void we have on the D-line!

I am willing to bet the Liuget is still not ready to go, and probably won't be until training camps roll around. IMO Nobody is going to sign him until he is ready to go.
If he is healthy enough to go come mid-July, I could see Cory signing a one-year low dollar prove-it contract. Trust me (from personal experience), the market isn't red-hot for a 300+ pound thirtyish year old DT coming off of a ruptured quadriceps tendon surgery.

maybe he wants a longer deal than 1 and its not the money? I think money and term are both aspects that go hand in hand with the ask. You are correct though, it 'might be' the hang up is term.

The market is pretty much dried up at this point in the season. There will be other opportunities to be looking at possible upgrades for the offensive line, especially when it comes to veterans, most significantly being:
(1) Post June 1st designation releases;
(2) Training camp cuts of vets, and
(3) Potential low-cost trades of vets who are going to be released due to salaries if a trade can't be consummated where you can trade a very late round draft pick for the player before he hits the open market.
The Chargers staff will be criminally negligent if they aren't actively engaged in reviewing these possibilities like a hawk.

My only true concern is that the Bolts, from TT down to the lowest coach, all think they have the OL talent already on the roster to win a Super Bowl. They will never fix a problem if they do not believe there is a problem.

What big money contract(s) should have been cut loose to sign the big $$$ free agent offensive lineman? And which big $$$ free agent o lineman should they have signed? They picked up Slauson in May a few years back. I’ll wait to see iif there are any more additions and how Lamp and others show before throwing TT in the slammer. But I guess that’s just me.
