We don’t have to like the pick but how many picks have we not liked and groaned at and they have panned out well?

seems too lightweight to command double teams imo. Hopefully he got da moves I am not a fan of the pick.....let us hope TT knows way more than I do. Yeah, I'm sure we're hoping for that.

This guy sure likes it. 28. Chargers: Jerry Tillery, DT Notre Dame Analysis: This might be my favorite pick in the first round. Jerry Tillery is going to be a good run defender, but he’ll make his money in the passing game. He’s a big dude who knows how to play with leverage and use his powerful hands to push blockers aside. He should have been a top-15 pick, but the Chargers aren’t sweating it. They needed a defensive tackle and they ended up with one of the best in the class at 28. GRADE: A+ ftw.usatoday.com/2019/04/2019-nfl-draft-grades-first-round

Wow - Tillery. Surprises me. Safe to say if Lawrence was here TT was drafting him. Tillery not a bad pick, I wanted Ford but not unhappy with this Actually prefer Tillery over Lawrence even if both were there.

Wow ! TT walked from way superior talent to fill a need......hope he is right in the evaluations. Tillery was the last player that TT and the FO had a first round grade on:

Chargers: A Pete Prisco: I love the selection. I think this kid has got great upside. The Chargers needed to get better on the defensive line and they needed to get tougher. They needed to get better inside, we saw that in the playoff loss to the Patriots.
