With TC2019 upon us, it is time to ask the annual question: Which veteran player fails to earn a spot on the final roster of 53 ?
I am assuming all of you will think I go Lamp, but my preferred Vet release would actually be Cardale Jones.

With the new draftees and the return of the injured three, a vet like Dzubnar is likely in danger of losing his spot. |

I always think there could be more than one. I just listed who I think is possible. Mebane may be a stretch IMO. but to others not so much. I limited my choices to vets of 5 years or more.

One other thing: Don't be shocked if the Chargers sign Liuget to a low-dollar "prove that you're healthy" contract.
Corey didn't leave the franchise on bad terms, he just suffered a very serious knee injury (the severity I know of through personal experience.

Terms would be the critical part for me.

I'm going to guess your first 4 aren't going anywhere. So you are saying that only Dzubnar is the one you could see being released. Funny, I could see any of the five making the team, or getting released. The staff loves Green. With no Gates, Green has value and lands at 2 on the depth chart. Square....I THINK we just signed him. They didn't just sign him, to release him. D line rotation. Schofield is our starting Guard. Now, they plan on Lamp shaking things up, but Schofield sticks on the final (8 ?) Oline players. Mebane is our starting DT. Tillery is a rookie that will take time. Learn from Mebane.

Here's my first time predicting our final roster. If my math is correct, the "Locks" below equal 50 players, leaving room for only three more. I think these last three players will be from the defensive side and will be three of these six players:
Cortez Broughton, Kyle Wilson, Emeke Egbule, Brandon Facyson, Jeff Richards and Jaylen Watkins. I predict Egbule, Facyson and Watkins make the team. I don't know about Practice Squad players so I'm not predicting those guys.
Here are the players I strongly believe are on the final roster, with some interesting choices highlighted in red, like the RB depth order and the WR choices:
