I've been watching this team stink it up in playoffs for too many years to count. I'm done making excuses for them - every team has injury problems by the tine the playoffs arrives. Roo is tired of waiting!! As disappointing as the NE game was last January, this really could be the year. I don’t see them rolling through the season without at least a handful of adversity, but I believe that they’ll have a better shot at an extended postseason run this season. Bolt up!!! Lynn says he wants to keep the starters fresh for later in the season. Rumor has it there will be some fresh legs at the RB position round week ten.

I think there was a lot that went into it. The one that everyone is avoiding is that NE is simply a dynasty.
No matter how you add it up, we looked like living hell out there.
I still don't like it to take away from what I saw as a great season for us.
Agreed. on all of it. But dagnabit just you don't hate the fact you have to say "NE is a dynasty." Now where's my puke jar. It is what it is.
You either miss them in the playoffs because they get upset by another team, or you beat them.

Reminder: this is the WR whom 36-year-old Thomas Davis was running stride for stride with at the joint practice last week. From Jay Glazer: What has surprised you so far in all of your training camp stops? — Ryan R. It’s Rams WR Cooper Kupp. I cannot believe how fast that dude is after coming off ACL surgery. It was late in the season, not that long ago, when he tore it. He looks faster, he’s cutting better. I was there last week, and I was stunned at what this guy looks like. He probably doesn’t get the credit he deserves, but after what I saw last week, yes, I proclaim him a freak of nature. Teammates always brag about how hard he works, and some guys are saying he’s always worked so hard and that this injury actually gave him some rest. His body got a chance to rest for the first time. But again, oh my goodness, I can’t believe what he looked like this soon after ACL surgery. It just doesn’t make any sense. theathletic.com/1125870/2019/08/09/glazers-training-camp-mailbag-on-the-biggest-surprise-of-camp-unusual-player-hobbies-and-another-prank-story/

Rookie precaution A hamstring injury forced Nasir Adderley to end his Pro Day early in March. He then missed mandatory minicamp in June because of a hamstring injury. The hamstring issues are now eating into the rookie free safety’s training camp time. After participating in the first five camp practices, Adderley has missed the past six, including two joint scrimmages with the Rams and the preseason opener against the Cardinals. It’s unknown if Adderley’s hamstring injury is the same one from his Pro Day. The Chargers have decided rest is the best treatment to help the second-round pick from Delaware fully heal. “We don’t want to put him back out there too soon and him do something really serious to that hamstring,” Lynn said. “We want to give him time to get well because we know he can play when he’s healthy. We got to make sure that he’s right, but yeah, I’d like to see him get back this week.” Adderley has fallen behind in the starting free safety competition, but Lynn isn’t worried about his depth chart status. “It’s important for him to practice,” Lynn said. www.ocregister.com/chargers-te-andrew-vollert-suffers-torn-acl-ending-promising-training-camp

Drue Tranquill is a thoughtful and conscientious young man. I like him a great deal.

There is a similar rumor regards fresh legs at OLT, C/ OG.

This is actually Approved. If we can't run one Melvin, we'll just run the other.
