Training camp is officially over, so I thought that I'd start up a catch-all thread as we look forward to Sunday September 8th where we can stick a variety of posts.
Since I am a season ticket holder at the new stadium in Inglewood come 2020, I have free access to the NFL Game Pass website. In addition to coach's film of all NFL games, there are a variety of other NFL shows that have been broadcast over the past decade.
One of these shows is "Film Session" (only a first year program) where Ron Jaworski and Brian Baldinger break down tape with player guests, and it is some great stuff! What blew me away is the Desmond King episode. I highly encourage all of you to seek out the half-hour show (20 minutes on Game Pass) that features Desmond King.
Jaws said that Desmond has created a new position in the NFL: a "Core Safe Slot Backer Returner" ... and looking at all of the film clips, Jaws is right on with his observation!
One thing that I didn't know about BlaqBadger: he was the Michigan state wrestling champion in high school at the 150 pound level. During the film clip breakdowns, both Jaws and Baldy talk with Desmond a great deal regarding the wrestling techniques that go into King's tackling form.
I'll keep a lookout to see if I can find links outside of Game Pass where anybody can watch it, but the Game Pass site ($99 if you can't get it for free) for the Film Session show is at the following link:

Man, I'm telling you: King is a "must sign" second contract player, and truth be told he's a guy who should be extended next offseason if he continues to perform at All Pro level, and I am certain that both TT and Ed McGuire are aware of it.
