Titans are going to the SB. They destroy KC next week Remember the 3 sayings: 1. Its who is hot at the end of the season (They were 5-2.) 2. Playoffs is run the ball. (Oh Henry) 3. Play defense.

Titans are going to the SB. They destroy KC next week You play the pool your way and take the hot underdog. But I have to give you a serious bettors mantra I have never forgotten: Third week straight on the road is death itself. To do it in the playoffs. Whew.

Spent it all on New Orleans. I think the Titans are different. Doesn't seem like they are riding a super high. They are just hot. reminding me of Pitt coming in as the 6th seed and went all the way.

I'll still take KC with Tenn. 3rd straight road game.......... Can you imagine the contract extension Mahomes will get this year ?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Holy hell already. He'll be the first 40 million dollar per year QB. Its going to be crazy and I hope they are in Cap hell because of it. LOL

LOL during the game the announcers were talking how KC could be set for 10 years. I laughed. Said, "Just wait till they have to pay him Franchise money. No way they keep that other position level talent"

What happens when/if that player is injured to the extent of being placed on IR?

You roll the dice with Injuries, that just comes with the territory. Big Ben got hurt after he received a 5 million dollar bonus this year. Then they still had to pay 21.2 million dollars to him in salary.

Without the proverbial 'pot' matching the growth, I just do not see shifting a greater percentage of the available resources to a single player as a tenable position. There have been articles implying Brady accepted less in order to allow the club more resources for other positions, which on the surface seems to recognize the negative impact of too much to a single player. I have no idea if there is any truth to the writers contention, but I do believe numbers such as we are talking won't work long term.
