Meh. It's not like Oregon was playing Coastal Miami of Carolina State of Western Duke Ontario like everyone else does in week one. Exactly, but a tough way to lose an opener. Mild kudos to Auburn for scheduling them, but rarely if ever do SEC teams venture into a home and away series with a PAC 12 squad. Playing at a neutral site in the south like today is as close as they come. When is the last time Bama ventured to the west coast? |
