Kris Dielman was a UDFA. PON too. Jeudy or Lamb would ignite our offense. We need scoring to improve on our 0-6 AFCW record. I agree that adding a top notch receiver could ignite our offense and I'll be all for it if we can bolster the OL before the draft. I wonder if either of them are as great as Patton though? You're right Dielman was a UDFA, he also was a DT that they switched to OT. We never know where our help will come from.
Where is your mock draft?
Perhaps the Bolts will move Tillery......

Lamp was a very solid draft pick by TT, contrary to those that want to blame all on TT, Lamp just got injured. That injury took enough away to make him a bust pick due to injury. TT has had his mistakes in OL drafting, which has put this roster build in serious jeopardy. Focus the draft on OL, mostly, some DL.....all the rest is good enough if TT doesn't miss.....or get some fixes via FA's....not sure I trust that route to be honest.

Somebody else wrote that TT's success has been in free agency. Okung and Pouncey. They were pretty much can't miss guys, but he could play to his strength and sign some more. I would imagine a blend there. Minimum one of each. I know we are in trouble at Tackle. Specifically the talent throughout the depth is bad. I really don't like our guards. I would have no problem wholesaling the entire freaking group of them. Its really going to tick me off if we sign Schofield back. He doesn't have to be the worst, but his contract is up, and he is the signal that we are at least trying to improve the talent depth. Do not re-sign him. It saves the money and opens up a roster spot.

At this point TT will be wise to commit to OL from both FA and draft....I don't like the FA route due to cost and return generally do not match up well after the fact. FA is a gamble TT needs to take. Fixing the OT's and OG's would be my priority as well, but that could change if the right OC was available. Pouncy is injury concern, Quiz is just average, but that is a ton better than what the OT's and OG's bring. It will be an interesting off season, especially the QB decision.....

TT needs to take action before we can even guess his next steps. Rivers and his contract is number one to kick things off. Either re-sign him, or don't. So we can get a better lay of the land.
Your Herbert is HOT on mock drafts for the Chargers. Really heavy. .............(I'm starting to feel Tua. he's the better talent.)

I don’t think Rivers signs an extension until his concerns are addressed. I cannot help but think that includes OL and possibly more.

I'd rather have Tua over Herbert... I just can't get over Herbert's last bowl game performance, not good enough IMHO.

we aren't used to winning anything.

3 rush TD's is good for a RB or Lamar Jackson... 138 yards passing with an INT is not good for anyone.

You would have laughed, I read one mock draft hat said "Herbert has athleticism that Chargers fans won't be used to. "
