On the bright side, PR and his colts are putting a whooping on the Raiduhs 44-20! 🍺 I bet Rivers is just yapping like a crazy man...... Don’t they call that chirping?

Sunday 12/20/20 vs the Texans will be Rivers 238th consecutive start and he will now be 59 consecutive starts behind Brett Favre's all time record of 297. (Including the playoffs it will be Rivers 249th consecutive start which is also 2nd all time, and 72 behind Favre's total record of 321).
Rivers is also only 3 tds behind Marino for 5th place all time.

Right now he has 417 and Marino has 420 so it seems highly likely he will do it with three games still to play this season. (and maybe playoffs?) Ironically, 4th on the list is Brett Favre who has 508! So it doesn't look like Phil will catch Favre on either of these lists! ( NO ONE is breaking the consecutive starts record. No one.) Just think, Rivers didn't even start a single game his first two years in the league and he has more games and more passing TDs than Eli or Ben who were drafted in the same year and did start right away! PR certainly isn't the best ever, but he is vastly under-respected.

I think Ben and PR are the best of the bunch with Ben being the clear winner for obvious reasons. PR is vastly under-respected and Eli is vastly over-respected.

Russell Wilson has a chance to break Favres record, started right away, hasn't been injured yet, #2 active behind Rivers, was Matt Ryan then he got hurt then Stafford then he got hurt. Rivers plays through the injuries, beast. Sunday 12/20/20 vs the Texans will be Rivers 238th consecutive start and he will now be 59 consecutive starts behind Brett Favre's all time record of 297. PR and the Colts are off to a smoking start as they methodically March it dow the Texans collective throats on the first drive. 7-0 Colts.

Wow!! Darius Leonard strips the Texans receiver as he was going in for the apparent game tying TD with 20 seconds left. And that’s two weeks after the Texans botched up the snap at the Colts 2 yard line while trailing by 6 points in the final minute.
Colts win 27-20! Steelers up next week while the Titans play the Pack.

Rivers post game asked if feels vindicated and he said "some turnovers last year hurt but some of my plays made are the reason we were even still in the game" đź‘Š 3:00 minute mark Some turnovers "hurt"? Those turnovers "LOST" games. But that is ok because when he did actually make a play that worked they stayed in the game. Not win. But stayed in the game. Fair trade...
