Guess that I'll take this one by default and see where it goes. The Chargers are 1-5 in season openers over the past six seasons, 3-7 over the past 10 years. With the MGIII holdout, James' injury, Okung's situation, and now ex-Mullet Badger's absence, I really feel that getting out of the gate with a W is extra important this year. Looking for a big defensive performance tomorrow with forced turnovers and an offense that's ready to mix it up and put a decent amount of points on the board as PR distributes the ball all over the field: Chargers 31 - Colts 17 Go Chargers, Go!!!

Time to get this party started.
2019 game 1 Rivers lead Bolts vs the Luckless Colts My call Chargers D dominates early, offense finishes it late.
Here's to a 1-0 start, no injuries, good OL play, minimum penalties and 51 of something
oh err... second

That history on opening day, those injuries, Gordon's issue, Okung out......man, that sets a tough table. Be really nice to see the defence be able to stop the running attack, force Brissett to win it with his arm. Hoping the offence keeps it simple, not trying to do too much, but just enough. No penalties..... no injuries..... no turnovers.... Way to step up Joe! Thanks!

Hey guys! Go Chargers! With our absences aside, The colts lost their starting QB just a few weeks ago... Sounds good on paper but the Chargers have never adjusted well to Backup QB's in the past.. Thats what i'm worried about.. Though, at the same time our team is solid and ready to prove a point. Our injury issues in the past have only ever fired up the rest of the team so I think we will get ahead 2 TD's at some point and Colts won't be able to catch up..

Facing a backup QB because the face of your franchise retires in his prime two weeks before the season starts is another. The also had a coach quit a couple of days ago. The shell shocked Colts get smacked 35-7.

A. Luck was the most overrated QB ever. They won't lose much at all..
