Feeling a lot more nervous about this one than when the schedule first came out. Of course, I didn't know that the Bolts would be suffering from an onslaught of long-term and short-term injuries in Week 2, but as a Chargers fan I should have been prepared for it, right? They're going to need to manage this game on both sides of the ball, and I'm hoping that Gus gets a little bit more aggressive. The offense needs to stay balanced, and hopefully PR can spread the ball around. With the Texans coming to town next week, this is a really important game. Win the turnover battle, play smart football, and wing it back to the West Coast with another W stacked up. Go Bolts!!!

While the game is won or lost by the players, I think you are dead on with the "They're going to need to manage this game" thought. In my view, it really does come down to the coach's and their play calling. Play smart, get the win, get out of Detroit..... Low number of penalties, no TO's, and most importantly....no more injuries.

No game is a sure win. But we should expect the Bolts to be the team on top at the end. With Disc on this one... no more injuries. please

Dude was money last week. So far, Long has been a great addition. Just think we could of had Cardel as a 4th QB.

ranking wise (after 1 game) the Bolts and Lions are close. Lions with the edge in a few categories
Offense Bolts 9th.. Lions: 5th Defense Bolts 19th.. Lions: 18th Passing Bolts 12th.. Lions: 8th Rushing Bolts 9th.. Lions: 12th
The Chargers are 5-0 without Melvin Gordon since 2018 (8-4 when Gordon plays). Per PFF, Austin Ekeler forced 8 missed tackles in Week 1 (3 on rushes, 5 on rec), more than Melvin Gordon had in any game last season.
