Good: Perryman helped shore up the run d. Keenan is money
Bad: DL was ineffective Jenkins is not a good safety Offensive game plan was vanilla Gus needed to blitz more Aside from Hayward the dB group is weak OL got beat or held Travis dropped the game tying TD
Ugly: Penalties. Refs had way too much of an influence for the second straight week. Called back another TD, nullified an INT and made a holding call on a criticall pass to MW late. Coaching is just a lost cause. Getting killed in the second half.

thanks Moe. penalties are a problem this year. if the DL was ineffective, then the DB's would suffer. Was that the case or were our DB's just not good either way?

Watson extends plays and that’s a lot of time to ask guys to cover. They got lost on the TE TD that was the difference. Jenkins is a liability. Facyson got better but he’s back up material. Hayward did a pretty good job on Hopkins. Too many back ups starting right now. You can’t win when your d is giving up 3 straight TD drives and your offense has no response. 20 unanswered points

Lynn and the rest of his crew should be on the hot seat. We are getting worked in the 3rd quarter this year. Other teams are Maki g half time adjustments and shutting us down

Watson out performed PR today stat wise. the bolts hurried him more in the first half but no sacks getting 2 in the second, but not a lot of hurries. I think the DL is ineffective. Texans were near the bottom stat wise coming in. Today they will up about half. OL got PR sacked 5 times! good grief.

I'd like to pretend that since we were 1-2 last year that we'll be 12-4 this year too but before the season started I felt that "magic/kismet" wasn't going to happen again. TT should be looking hard in the mirror because coming off having the best record in the AFC last year one would think we might get even better but he falls in love with a player too much, if Derwin didn't drop to us last year I wonder whom his pet was going to of been? Tillery is nothing whatsoever from what I've seen, rather have Liuget back. Pipkens was a reach at the 3rd round and our second rounder who I thought would be starting next to Derwin doesn't get to see the field. Much rather would have drafted a Tackle than Tillery. I just don't feel it this year, especially when KC and NE look better than they did last year, I hope I'm wrong.

Watson - 25/34, 351 yards, 3 TD's with zero picks.
That's not good, especially since Watson isn't exactly a top 5 QB.
Would like to know why on that final drive the Chargers always feel they need to throw the ball far as they can down the field? What is with the desperation bombs?
Watch Tom Brady in these situations. He dinks and doinks, uses the sidelines and methodically works his way down. Never understood why the Chargers don't use that sort of offense...

Are we not so talented as everyone thought ? - TT Are we getting out coached every game this year ? - AL Are we getting numbers of injuries again ? - Strength and cond. team
2 more losses (not counting Miami game) and that is the point when owner should take some actions.

Allen does it all, Williams and Inman are built for downfield, and you aren't dinkin dunkin bombing or otherwise with Virgil Green and Sean "Sure Hands" Culkin.
Let me tell ya.

Then you need to build a system that changes the Charger norm. I can tell ya', this aint working..

The 12-4 record last year reflected far too many things falling the Bolts' direction. Belief in that repeating for this year is misguided. Poor halftime adjustments seem to be a trait of both AL and Whiz, while Gus just gets far too cautious in his calls. Injuries are just bad luck. Blaming the conditioning staff seems like a reach. Owner taking action......Ha, remember this club is owned by Spanos. There will be no action taken.

Every year its the same thing... An occasional up year where PR plays lights out but then we lose to the Patriots. This is not a PO year... We need Okung, James, and Henry back.
