The irony of your first sentence is too much. Gordon clearly is not worth his ask. I also believe that the ability to run, or lack there of, is much more about the crappy OL. Getting Gordon back doesn't change that. I get the perspective. Some think the OL makes the RB, Others the RB makes the OL. For me its symbiotic. Works both ways. The better the more impact he has on the OL. LT made the bolts OL, more than th eOL made him. However, you seem to have missed my last statement. I think Gordon increases the ability to do more. It puts defenses in a bind because it forces them to cover more ground. I do not believe as you do that this OL is the sole or heaviest weight on the teams ability to perform at a high level. There is no irony on my first statement. I think you read it wrong. Gordon is not worth 13MM. But the team with Gordon is better. The OL has actually been pretty effective in the run game. Makes it all the more mysterious when they abandon it. I think Gordon could take better advantage over the course of the game in the improved OL play.

On pass pro, I think PR has had more time in the pocket overall than last year or the year before. So if receivers are not getting open that is a problem. PR getting spastic is another

I agree completely, it is symbiotic, but I do not believe the jump in talent by over paying Gordon is remotely worthwhile. Nor is that jump in talent enough to overcome the crappy OL. Simply put, what the Bolts are getting from the run game is pretty close to what they would be getting with Gordon, in my opinion. Chirping you about spelling......don't let Freak try to turn it into anything but fun chirping.

What is mysterious is the force feeding Ekler, but not the more effective JJ......

MGIII will play this season for his current salary and nothing more. MGIII is another weapon that could really help the Chargers. He will join a RB-by-committee and help everyone have fresher legs. He is another catch-run option in short/mid yardage that Benji and Inman don't offer.

Even if Gordon comes back, Whiz doesnt run the ball in the 2nd half.... Whiz doesn't run the ball..... It just feels like in the second half he abandons the run. I don't have any stats on that, but it sure feels that way watching the games.
