That’s the only rational approach. Is it ? At "5 ish" its easy to move up. Do you guys then move up ?

We weren't the "cure all" for the Dolphins! C'mon guys it's not Rivers fault, so many people are talking about getting a replacement for 37 year old Rivers but no one is clamoring for a replacement for 40 year old Brees or 42 year old Brady and Rivers is playing nearly as well as them (Brady 150 yds vs. Bills, etc.) Rivers can actually get better and better with age due to his brain, just like Brees and Brady have. I feel your Rivers love. Respect. The problem would be, its not always you can match high draft pick with good QB pool with THAT targeted, scouted rookie QB.

PR's brain drainage appears to be inextricably linked to playing with having a lot of 2nd and 3rd team talent surrounding him.
