After looking at QB's, we seem to be getting too close to Rivers' end with no viable QB in waiting, the only one I like is Herbert. I would not draft Tagovailoa.......I see bust. You are locked in on Herbert. No problem that is your choice. One heads up I will give you.....Oregon QB's are famous for not translating well into the NFL. You are welcome.

Burrows is the only one I would trust currently, and would take him all day over Herbert.

I like Burrows as well, but he will go #1, and that makes him out of reach and out of consideration. You want a new QB, pick one that you might actually have a chance to draft.......

I wonder if Jalen Hurts couldn't land into our draft slot..........................

Moving up is risky for sure. The holes the bolts need to fill may make it difficult to move up if they fail at landing a couple quality FA's. I guess the brain trust has to figure what is the greatest need, can we fix it with PR in place, or do we risk the fix drafting a QB early? It pie in the sky to think they can fix everything, but I think they can make some significant strides.

So you guys want to not pay Rivers some ridiculous sum in order to facilitate paying for upgrades elsewhere, but are willing to spend a ridiculous amount to move up in the draft to #1 to get Burrows.....seems contradictory to me. Assets are assets.....be it money or players or picks....spend wisely.

Trade up to 1st Round number 32, and get the 5th year option on him.
Stick with me. You'll learn lots.

I'm not in favor of moving up. Risky always. Costly absolutely, but depends on where you are. I think the bolts end up picking #5-8. Those positions are good to stay at, but not entirely cost prohibitive, you have to look at least

The Super Bowl winning club will know this concept you have in mind, as will all the other clubs, increasing the value of that pick. It will be interesting, certainly. Hurts is 2nd rd talent.
