Does Eli have anything left?
I personally can see Irsay wanting to sign Peyton's brother for a PR move.
I can see Elway doing the same for the same reason but not as a PR move but because of the same reason he signed Peyton.
Or does he go to any other team?
Kurt Warner left the Giants and took the Cards to the SB.
I don't see the desire in Eli.
I however can't stand him and would like to see him go away.
Same with Big Ben Rapersberger.

How funny would it be to sign Eli to be Rivers' backup???
(No, I do not want Eli, no I don't think he's better than Tyrod and no I do not even like Eli. But I still think it would awesome to "offer" him a role as Rivers' backup, which of course he wouldn't accept but would be sooooo fitting!)

Just heard that Eli will probably start this Sunday, his possible last chance to redeem himself for a suitor ... thoughts?
I now am switching my thoughts to him going to the Colts.
Coughlin want him in Jax possibly?

Plenty of QB need in the league....it will come down to Eli wanting to play. If he does, he will get signed.

I'd think he'd likely go to a QB needy team. I voted retirement but could see him go to the Redskins or Bucs.

ESPN did an article www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...ons-16-players basically saying Norv Turner and Carolina may try to sign ex N Carolina St QB Rivers but more than likely Rivers is the Chargers 2020 1st string QB and that Eli will retire. I still can see Eli in Indy or Jax or Denver. Going to the QB whisperer Arians in T.B. is interesting. |
