Guard. on the down ward slide. maybe he ran out of gas late season Won't take much to be better than Feeney, or Lamp....... Right. A recent Pro Bowler on the wrong side of the age slide is better than most Chargers OL period.

Won't take much to be better than Feeney, or Lamp....... is it worth the cost..... That depends on Lynn's confidence that we have a decent quality LG on the current roster. Having a free running pass rush/run blitz where Feeney should have blocked is as bad as it gets.

I just think you have to weigh the cost on a player (mind you 3 yr pro bwlr) who the saints cut. Why did thye cut him. was it just for the money? It didn't sound like that. I got the impression his play dropped significantly.

They drafted a starter and intend for him to start, according to the reports. I’m sure it was a cost cutting measure as well. All I know is that the Chargers need to do more for the left side of the line or they may as well snap shotgun at a 45 degree angle where the QB lines up behind the RT.

I also read that,TB- here's the quote I found: "Warford, 29 in June, has earned Pro Bowl nods in each of the last three seasons. However, the Pro Bowl selection process for offensive linemen tends to be less than scientific, and Sean Payton was less than thrilled with his performance in 2019. The Saints made that crystal clear late last month when they drafted interior lineman Cesar Ruiz in the first round. Ditto for their re-signing of Andrus Peat on a five-year, $57.5MM deal in March."I have nothing for or against Larry Warford, I'm just supporting the theory his play had declined. Of course he would still almost certainly be better than our starting LG and of course he would cost more so I'm rather ambivalent here. I kinda like the idea of looking into Jason Peters on a short term deal; he could be an upgrade on the field and a mentor to TP who could take over next year, especially with continued development and improvement from coaches and veterans like JP.

I don't think bringing in the Washington Redskins Hogs Offensive Line and their coach is helping "TP". It stands for toilet paper, right ? LOVE Jason Peters. But I am spooked that we would be bringing the Great in at the end of his career. I mean, he is at the end. It's obvious half of Peters is better than all of Pipkins Longstocking. But would we even get half of him ? I'd cut him down to about 8-9 games played. Which that's ok too. Anything to help. Play Pipkins against Cincy, Peters against New England, etc etc.

i agree fully with that article. I asked the question on the forum, and there were some "give him a year" etc etc. I don't want him soon, just to play him soon. I just know how the current NFL works. Did NOT realize Baker Mayfield took over for Tyrod in Week 3..........................................................something for all to remember.............
