Great teams aren’t afraid of guys labeled “cancers” because the winning culture is strong enough to withstand and turn any one disgruntled player. Great players are rare finds. When the price is this cheap it’s worth the risk to get somebody who has been great and probably has gas left in the tank. High reward low risk. I have no idea why the Chargers didn’t try to get Le’Veon Bell

They were winning without him and will continue winning without him, he can get on board or kick rocks. These teams that let players become a distraction typically need that player more than he needs them.
