Well gang, I think Simmons is gone at 6 now.I really like Wills/Wirfs, yet could EASILY live with fourth choice out of the Oline litter. Since McNeil's, Dielman's injury retirements, I have been off and on all over the idea of fixing the Oline. How can we live with ourselves if we don't do something here ? Make Tyrod happy ! ATM it's Wills/Wirfs...Wirfs/Wills IMV. Simmons could still be there......and my choice of picks. Burrows, Young, then two QB's go via trade up (Tua/Herbert), pick 5 will be very interesting..... Regardless of Simmons being there or not, TT will add a very good player. If Detroit selects Simmons, trade our #3 to the Giants and select Tua. Although I still have my doubts about Herbert being successful in the NFL, TT could keep our 3rd and likely have Herbert avail at 6.
My priority wish list is: (of course Burrow or Young likely 1-2)
Simmons Tua Wirfs Thomas
Herbert/Wills

I see it as:
Burrows Young Okudah Simmons Brown then one of the OT's.......I have not developed a favorite as of yet.
We are pretty certain Burrows and Young go 1-2, then it gets cloudy.......if Miami trades with Detroit, taking Tua, then Detroit takes Okudah @5, Giants are probably taking an OT, unless they trade. You know any trade will be for a QB (Herbert), leaving Simmons for the Bolts, unless the Giants surprise and take Simmons. Then TT grabs an awesome OT, or DT......both of which are huge needs. Still believe Simmons is there, and TT takes him.....

Or be a trade partner as you say... We're still likely in a no lose situation with whomever is available (and TT selects)... Hopefully!

FA signs can start 3/10. To me where the bolts go draft depends on FA

FA signs can start 3/10. To me where the bolts go draft depends on FA Seems like TT uses FA to bridge a deficiency, only looking to get a couple years from the signing, then he hopes to have addressed the need via draft. Problem has been his missing in the draft picks on OL, DL and perhaps ILB. This off season the needs are positions that will be expensive, QB being the most expensive, but LOT as well won't be cheap. There are a bunch of needs, so being active and successful in FA will be very important, something that is not TT's style. The Bolts will need solid efforts in both FA and draft to get back among the respected rosters.

Something to not really worry about. Its kind've irrelevant at this point... If the Spanos do command final say, then we've been screwed a long time ago.

Not ready to post a mock, but based on what’s known it seems like there are so many great players that staying put or even trying to add picks might be the best play. Trading up seems unnecessary unless there’s one specific player (likely QB) that they see as a long-term investment.

This forum is dead. Two new posts on a day when the combine is going - yikes. Sorry it didn't work out but I'm out of here.

While I like others here were impressed with Simmons I don't see the Chargers taking him even if he drops to 6. He is a mirror image of Derwin James who plays the hybrid safety/linebacker role in Bradley's system with Adderley playing the "centerfield" spot so drafting Simmons would be a luxury pick that would not improve the team as much as OT or QB in the 1st round.

The safety positions are becoming quite blended, meaning FS and SS, so in that context consider how much James impacted play.....then add another James type in Simmons to the play. If, and it seems fair to categorize it as an if, Adderley actually plays up to his potential, then James and Simmons could be really dangerous. In the end, always add the better talent.....
