Scouts on Simmons: He plays too high. What you saw at Combine does not transition over to the field. REACT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Could be said for any position... Making the combine worthless. Like I care how fast an oline can run.

Simmons is projected to be picked in the top ten, even his biggest detractors acknowledge this. Then some scout is trying to sell us that his athletic display at the NFL combine does not translate to his play in games.......yea, not buying it one bit. Do not believe anything........

Then some scout is trying to sell us that his athletic display at the NFL combine does not translate to his play in games.......yea, not buying it one bit. Do not believe anything........ First, we are picking Top 6, so ten has no bearing. Second, we have 51 safeties and will never, and I mean never ever, draft Simmons. I have spoken. Well I would love to see TT add Simmons, but that is not what my response was about. I was responding to the the tearing down of a prospect using negative marketing. Simmons is one of the best players in this draft, but a scout has deemed him a mistake to draft because he plays too high.....yea, GM's are going to buy that and stay way far away from Simmons. What a crock.....

It is a QB driven league.....going to be very interesting to see how Spanos' decision to walk away from Rivers works out.

The situation calls for waiting until after the 18th to post a TruMock.
So far, I have a King Dunlap in round 1,
a Melvin Gordon in round 2,
and
a QB outta Slippery Rock
named Rivers in round 7.
