Not a big fan of the Herbert pick... but I love Murray! Will we ever get an OT in the 1st round...? me neither. I think if they went Simmons, they could of had herbert at 37. though I bet they would have traded up to do it. As it is, GB traded up for Jordan freaking Love. Given that, you still think Herbert is available at 37? |

Since any experience I've had at strip clubs is closing out the night, they are all exceptionally hot without exception. Like 11s. |

Turning the page now, because I am a homer- Wow, how did we steal the best offensive player AND the best defensive player in this draft??? After further review- and even being disappointed in the predraft possibilities that actually became real but we still chose not to do things my way- I am glad for our first round selections and hope they give the Chargers the missing pieces to win Super Bowls. BEST?!? Let's say SOLID. I will agree that both picks have the potential to become the "best" mainly due to the supporting cast around them. Only time will reveal "best" of this draft class. My Day 1 two cents: I'll give TT a solid B grade for Round 1. Haters going to hate, and Freaks are going to gloat, but the Herbert pick isn't that bad. I for one am happy TT didn't panic and trade up for a QB. As I said in other posts, let the draft come to us with the #6 pick. Yes, I like so many of you wanted Simmons if he was there, but I am not on the Bolts payroll and couldn't figure out how to hack into the Commissioner's computer to change the pick in time. Sorry about that Frozen. As a homer, here's what I like about Herbert pick. TT didn't panic and trade up. Herbert isn't damaged goods. He has an arm, he is big enough to shake defenders off, he is capable of mobility and the best part is he has an opportunity to learn the NFL way BEFORE getting tossed the wolves. Think about how so many 1st round QBs get hammered way too soon starting day 1 and never recover. The Bolts have a decent supporting cast to help Herbert's development over time. Now on to Murray. Initially was not happy giving up our 3rd to move up to get him, but who is to say that our 3rd round pick would have amounted to anything based on Bolt history. How many times have we missed on our 2nd and 3rd round picks?!? Murray could be something special AND we haven't had real LB quality in a very long time. When was the last time we had a Billy Ray Smith or dare I say a player who could become a version of Seau. Say what?!? That's just crazy talk. Murray will help our defense THIS YEAR. Keeping my eye out for TT to find a way to move back into the 3rd Round and perhaps bring us a TE or WR like Laviska Shenault who can help this year. Didn't see that coming... Oh...one final note, will one of you Mods please go make an "Appreciate Me for My Greatness" thread for Freak so he can stop begging for attention.  I'm a Freak and I Approve this message.
