Herbert, the next Fouts / Brees / Rivers.
In a few years he will wish to be traded so he can actually get a ring, like most former Charger players.

I give the Chargers only win to the Bengals kicker. Conversely, do you give this win for the Saints to the Chargers kicker? Yes or no answer only. Same question for the Chiefs game. And don’t you have better uses for your time than trolling a fan message board of a team you despise? It is really really tiring.

We haven't had a decent coaching staff since 2007!! That's 13 years of bad coaching... I'm tired, so tired of complaining about bad coaching. Some teams can't find franchise QB's we can't find franchise coaches. smdh...

if it wasn't for bad luck the chargers would have no luck at all. maybe they should stop buying glass.
Even with the the injury loses, the bolts are competing with every team down to the wire. Esp the really good teams. So I get that is a moral victory, but it says the team has the talent and the depth we have all wanted for so long. somehow, it has to break through

You have to score more points than the other team, or stop them from scoring. The Bengals win was pure luck, they should be winless right now. This is what message boards are all about. Either you praise the team or vilify them, what other purpose is there? Do you work for the Chargers? I don't, so who cares? I have followed this team for more than 40 years and watched other teams win Superbowls, some with previous Charger players (See Drew Brees) They don't earn any respect from me until they actually win a championship.

I have lost count of the one score losses. Do we have 13 so far the last two seasons ?? I'm a Freak, so I love the pain and punishment. But I feel bad for you guys. Herbert is a great rookie. We deserve so much more than what has happened. Thanks for the empathy. It would be nice, given all the turmoil in the world, to be able to feel good about something instead of getting kicked in the nuts every weekend.

LOL and when we had him they fired him after going 14-2 Marty had issues with big games for a long time before he arrived in SD, and that continued in SD. That’s a problem when you are a coach. I loved Marty, but he melted in the big moments.

By that logic, the Chargers scored more points than the Bengals, correct? Or does that logic only apply when they lose. 🤷♂️ As for being a fan, you have already written off Herbert (the QB for the next decade) after 4 games. I call them as I see them: you are constantly trolling - nonstop. Herbert, the next Fouts / Brees / Rivers. In a few years he will wish to be traded so he can actually get a ring, like most former Charger players.

LOL and when we had him they fired him after going 14-2 Marty had issues with big games for a long time before he arrived in SD, and that continued in SD. That’s a problem when you are a coach. I loved Marty, but he melted in the big moments. His record during the playoffs was a concern, but then again look at the league. The Patriots built their dynasty at that time... We truly never gave Marty a chance, AJ failed this team more than anyone in the history of the organization (besides Spanos). Do you fire Kyle Shannahan because he loses Superbowls? No, he gets you to Superbowls.
