tough call on this what if. the bolts are going no where. In the case herbert struggles, leaving him in works to get him work through adversity. makes it a learning experience. If the game is close and you are winning, then Tyrod wins it, its the right call. If no win, I think the water would be too muddled to call it the wrong or right one, esp if he was as bad as Tua was. the other difference here is who is the back up. Agree with that... Also does go to show that Miami had likely put him in too early for the sake pressure caused by Herbert and Burrow playing well. Tua was put in a better situaltion too. Herbert is in a cess pool and playing like a GOAT. How exciting is that?

I was sooooo mad when we lost Dolla DOLLA phill but man am I head over heels little boy football love on Herbie mcHerbinator. Anyone remember fitz comments after he was told he was being benched? After winning all those games? He almost was crying. Said he felt like those were his guys. I definitely subscribe to the “hey coach, it’s the GM. Listen, can you start TUA? I’m getting my ass handed to me for choosing him over Herbert and I gotta get validated. You’ve seen burrow and herb. Get’em in there” Remember Herbert knew he was starting against SUPERBOWL CHIEFS when the ball was IN THE AIR!!! So I don’t care how “TUA didn’t have enough prep time excuse bs. Tyrod didn't even get a chance to stink it up for two games, his lung was punctured like some Hand By God miracle to get herb out there. Imagine how depressing this season would’ve been with him still on the bench? Not knowing what we got? Would be funny to see which members here would be “ told ya look at TUA / burrow” etc. I think if bengals had Doc Brown’s DeLorean time machine, he’s picking Herbert number 1 over all. He just has such a physical, mental, combination that I would take him all over again and give up the house to get him. |
