Joe Burrow's season got ended with a hit to his left knee. Number One pick overall QB get's his left tackle.
Chase and Pitts would be good to run for the injury cart on his next hit, a left tackle protects him.
Next ?

He'll be 33 this Dec. One year contract. "Reiff, 32, signed a one-year deal worth $7.5 million according to ESPN's Field Yates. The contract includes $5.5 million guaranteed. The Bengals plan to start Reiff at right tackle."

A great GM takes Pitts, then figures out a way to trade back in and get an OT last third of the 1st round.

The way I see thing is it will be determined at the Falcons at 4. If they trade down to a team looking for a QB it will leave the Bengals most likely drafting Sewell so it would need the Giants drafting a one of the top WR instead of Slater for him to fall to us. Of Course if the Bengals decide to take Pitts at that spot it will greatly increase our chances. The Bengals already have Sewell's name on his locker. Take Pitts, then tell the staff to change Sewell name to Jenkins.......

Ok after reviews of different mock drafts , team needs and what seems to be current trends in the last weeks before the draft, here is my best guess for our draft 1st Rashawn Slater OT Northwestern 2nd Tyson Campbell CB Georgia 3rd Rondale Moore WR Purdue3rd Rhamonde Stevens RB Oaklahoma 4th Royce Newman OG Ole Miss 5th Joshuah Bledsoe S Missouri 6th William Bradley-King LB Baylor 6th Sadarius Hutchenson C/G South Carolina 7th Ernest Jones LB South Carolina We will see how close I get Love the Moore pick! Hopefully no ones jumps us to grab him.

Please take my punishment out on some not random Canadian goalie."

More like last fifth of the first round, but I like the plan. You would get them both on 5th year option rookie contracts.

As an Org. you cannot have what happened to Joe Burrow last year, and not IMMEDIATELY take steps to protect him. He can get hurt again, but it's NOT going to be on your watch while you did nothing about it.

You yap about how a RB helps protect Herbert, so get the RB instead of OL. Now you are trying to sell drafting Pitts is detrimental to protecting Burrow, which is the priority for them. Pitts is generational talent, I don't buy Sewell is also......

Not only did Burrow get his left knee crushed-out for the season-. It was the left side rush that did it. He got killed last year. Had to get him OL help. We got OL help. You don't think a season ending injury for the number 1 draft pick should get OL help ? C'mon man. Sewell to Cincy.

Very deep and talented OL draft this year, take the true generational talent in Pitts, then get your LOT next. They could. It would give Burrow a target. I barely have the time to know the Bolts' needs/roster, so no idea about the WR's Burrow's has available, but adding Pitts would be a solid move. I am rarely, if ever, an advocate for trading up in a draft, but if Pitts fell to 10..... Nice dream.....now TT just get a solid LOT and onward they go, eh....
