I also get the feeling that you won't necessarily need to win a bidding war to lure Smith back home to LA, and like all but a handful of free agents Smith's $$$ value will be suppressed by the ~10% drop in the 2021 salary cap.I heard the Cap estimates went up, not down. Also: NFL wants to finalize new TV deals before setting 2021 salary cap in March The cap estimate went up in reference to the initial bigger slash that had been anticipated. The latest 2021 estimate represents a 10% cut from the 2020 cap. NFL salary cap will increase to $198.2M in 2020 www.nfl.com/news/nfl-salary-cap-will-increase-to-198-2m-in-2020-0ap3000001106260

Spotrac says JuJu may command $16 million. A little too rich for my blood. Re-build the IOL. For only being 3 letters, may is a big word, eh ? You could pay by the letter... J = $4 mil u = $4 mil J = $4 mil u = $4 mil

Mike Pouncey... Good riddance... Not sure, but I guess it is the underlying tone of the "good riddance" comment that I feel is unfair. I was against the Pouncy signing from the start. That being said, the Bolts did get solid play from him....when he was not injured. They also got a very good example for their young OC's on exactly 'how' to play the position. I understand the frustration with the injuries, and the perception of how 'wrong' it was for Pouncy to take payment for his final year under contract, but that perception is misplaced. The club should not have signed Pouncy due to injury history, but chose to anyway, and that roll of the dice came up in favor of the player. The earning window is small for these players, as such, I simply cannot be upset with them for taking every dollar owed under the contract.

There is a difference between being a skilled negotiator or earning a big contract and fleecing your team by the convenience of an injury... Is TT stupid for letting it happen? yes. Do I still think less of Pouncey? Absolutley... There is nothing unfair about it.

On the other hand , the $ amount leaves me feeling neutral. He was already a multi-millionaire.
