Slater is the OT version of Herbert. Football smart, hard worker, good technique, just wants to compete and learn.

There's a Rodgers for Herbert rumor people No way that happens. It’s just BS.

Jenkins is still out there, might as well get the bookends for the next ten years in the same draft!

Jenkins is still out there, might as well get the bookends for the next ten years in the same draft! You know what that tells me ? There's reasons for that. That's what that tells me. Did you know Oklahoma State has not had an OL drafted in 11 years. Russell Okung was the last one. Short arms (33 1/2 inches) and very small hands (9 1/2 inches) for an offensive tackle. Some teams will view him as more of a guard. Room to carry more mass. Despite respectable testing numbers, will never be considered an elite athlete for the position. Can’t always handle cross-face counters quickly enough. A bit heavy-footed at times. Can lose ideal posture and positioning vs. speedier rushers — doesn’t easily get enough depth in his drops. Will waist-bend when stressed. Got pancaked on a long-arm move from Oklahoma’s Ronnie Perkins, giving up 60-plus pounds. Lost a few battles at the top of the arc after initial stalemate or room to push rushers wide of the pocket. Can get a little wild in his run blocking occasionally — abandons technique in favor of unchecked power. Plays over his skis and misses his marks. Overaggressive with desire to punish. Fails to maintain contact and finish some blocks. Will turn 24 years old at the conclusion of his rookie season. Committed 14 penalties the past three seasons, including four in seven games as a redshirt senior. Hip injury is something to monitor.

that would be solidly stupid. No in the short term, yes in the long term. I see it as an unnecessary move either way. In the short haul, you aren't adding enough talent for the cost to make it worth the trade, and in the long run, Rodgers is not going to playing long. We'd be back in hunt for a QB in a few years. Herbert is the future.

THATS an investment my friend. That's family.

Round 1 Tom Telesco "Hey why the anxiety young grass hopper sit sit. Be patient. Good luck and fortune by the surfboard is guaranteed"
Round 2-3 Tom Telesco: Two shots of tequila for two pics in the 3rd!! HEEYAW LETS GET'EM!!"
We trade into a CB or edge rusher and cough up a pick to move like 43-37 just as an example. But he and his super excited Defensive coach are gonna lock onto somebody and POUNCE

In my opinion, he was THE MOST NFL ready OT in the draft. The Chargers made a super solid pick. So solid. Freak approves of the pick!

Keenan Allen was the 76th pick in the 3rd round of the 2013 draft. Anything can happen.
