I'm kind of surprised they didn't get a safety earlier than the 7th round. Maybe they have a FA in mind...

I'm kind of surprised they didn't get a safety earlier than the 7th round. Maybe they have a FA in mind... Yep sure do... I think he'll be what Verrett should have been.

We had multiple needs, addicts wanted 9 OL drafted, and you nailed both the position and the name. Naming this years second round pick was pure genius. Congrats.

I actually cheated a little bit. I saw that the Chargers had met with him twice. And every time Staley opened his mouth about what he likes in a CB... he seemed to be describing Samuels Jr. I really enjoyed watching his tape. I had a fairly lucky off-season with prognosticating. I called Corey Linsley and Matt Feiler signings, too. While I got the 1st-round LT call, I missed on the prospect (Slater instead of Darrisaw). I hope I miss on my prognostication that Slater's arms are too short. On the other side, you nailed the WR call. That was just a smart call that I didn't see.

I love the Slater pick, and really believe Slater will be very very good, but I have a feeling Samuel will be viewed as the best pick from this draft.

Love the enthusiasm, and I'm all for ASJ to be DROY, but he has TWO interceptions not three- one in each of the last two games. Can he overtake the Micah Parsons hype train?
