Lamp had the talent, unfortunately it was robbed from him by injury. Pipkins was a reach for raw talent that simply never materialized......

If you claim him off of waivers, you pick up his existing contract. I don’t see anybody doing that, so he’ll have to clear waivers before he hits the open market. |

Surely NE already paid any bonus money by this date on the calendar ? Cam can bridge a few games if needed, our backups...............well................um...............yikes.

Covid casualty I thought his contact was larger than $1.5 million, but you’re right, that’s peanuts. As for the second part of the equation: Yup, it’s no good having a backup QB who at a moment’s notice is gone for three games when you may need him. I wonder how many others there will be hitting the cuts let. |
