I'm happy for Tebow, because he seems like a great guy. But at this point, there's no chance he's on the final 53 over some younger, more athletic [currently] players that have more experience at Tight End than he does.

Agreed Joe, Meyer is making a mistake. If Tebow even sees the field... Nothing against Tebow personally, his time in the NFL is just done.

Perhaps a transition to coaching is the end result, Meyer isn't stupid, and Tebow might have wanted a last shot before agreeing to coaching. Meyer says 'ya sure, I give you a shot as TE' knowing full well Tebow will see the light long before cuts......and slide into coaching spot. Who knows.....well, they know. All those crying about Tebow getting signed but not Kaepernic, are crazy.....it has been eight years, no GM is bringing that negative energy to their club.

Dez Bryant begging for one more payday doesn't influence the inner workings of the Jags locker room. Dez Bryant is not the only one... ESPN is pretty salty about it too. Don't be surprised if the Jags change their mind and Tebowmania gets canceled.

How did Tebow’s presence influence the team culture when 31 of his teammates were arrested over six years at Gainesville? 🤷♂️ Florida won because Meyer recruited the most talented roster in the nation regardless of a player’s character, not because of the culture that Tebow created which would have been 180 degrees from the culture that existed. And there’s a little thing called the draft that will prevent building an NFL franchise in that manner. Young players could care less about a 32-year-old has-been QB who will be attempting to learn the TE position. Awful, just awful move by a coach attempting a college-level move on the professional level. It would be a massive distraction, all for a guy who has no chance of making the roster. 🤦♂️ |

Let me stop there for a minute. Those numbers are CRAZY TOWN ! Maybe Meyers is getting his boy one more year of NFL contract. Maybe he wants the culture help. Maybe Tebow makes Meyers favorite chicken recipe. He calls Tebow a competitive maniac. That is sorely missing at JAX. What the hell does it matter ? Its his team. If he wants Philip Rivers and Antonio Gates to come down for the summer, who cares ??
