Same, there may have been a PBU or two but I don’t recalls seeing any blatant drops. The receivers were actually one of the highlights (herbert was on too) as was the D-line. So I wonder and hope that the D-line play being so good is a reflection on Staley’s scheme and improved play from our guys as opposed to poor O-line play, at fan fest they stood out for sure The defensive front looked good at Friday’s practice. It may be a little bit of wishful thinking, but I’m leaning towards the defensive front and scheme being real good as the reason as opposed to the oline performance. The joint practices against the Niners will probably be a bigger tell on both sides of the line. I’m looking forward to them! Armstead, Arik, Zach Kerr Defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw and defensive end Dee Ford, and Nick Bosa is going to be easier ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

NFL approved a 90-man roster to start training camp this year with cuts to 85 on Aug. 17, 80 on Aug. 24 and 53 on Aug. 31.
The three dates listed all fall on a Tuesday and come after each week of the NFL preseason. Teams will be required to cut five players following their first preseason game and another five players following Week 2 of the preseason. Final roster cut downs where teams determine their 53-man roster will occur on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.

Per @nflcommish , #Chargers have sold more new season tickets than any other team in the NFL, and are 90% to goal of selling tickets (the goal is to sell out).
Thank you Freak for drafting Justin Herbert. You DO know all, after all.

There is a CB out of North Carolina and USF. He went undrafted and scouts were scratching their heads. It happens. What I have read is he does it all. Knows both safety spots, plays man and zone, and he's a returner too. Supposed to be a big time athlete. The Chargers just signed him, and he's intriguing.

That was not the angle I was looking at it from: we’ll see how the defensive front looks against the Niners offensive line. It’s not as if the newly reconstituted oline has been getting obliterated - it’s that the defense has looked better than the offense to date. We’ll see what another half-dozen practices between now and the opposed scrimmages does. The 8/19 and 8/20 practices will likely end up being more important preparation for the season than the exhibition games.

Low bar, but they’ve reportedly sold more season tickets than they had in San Diego during the 2000’s. The big question is how many of the tickets hit the resale market due to the low ticket pricing that the Chargers have implemented. 🤷♂️

Some signals/battles in this: There should be a 4-5 changes after the preseason games are complete. Some guys will stand out and some guys will unfortunately get hurt…

Looking at that depth chart... With Ingram now gone, is KA the longest tenured Charger? That just seems crazy to me... Def a new era.
