Looking at that depth chart... With Ingram now gone, is KA the longest tenured Charger? That just seems crazy to me... Def a new era. Not For Long… soon their wont be any that will have played in San Diego before the move Overall, it's a very young roster with a few vets from other teams that would have played games in San Diego. I believe that you're correct: Keenan is now the longest tenured Charger and the only one on the roster who was with the franchise when it was based in San Diego.

Didn’t Joey Bosa play his rookie season at the Murph? Could’ve sworn he did…

I was talking about Rumph at Fan Fest. LT and Matt might be a bit biased but they are not alone in praising this draft class, rumph I thought his collegiate tape was awful, great technique can only take you so far without the physicality, but I’m pleasantly surprised to see that he is bigger and stronger than I previously thought. Right now after watching him at fan fest, Rumph reminded me of a slightly thinner and lighter shaun phillips. He moves like Shaun IMO, similar type of stride and juke moves. He might play this year situationally but he certainly looks like he’s still a year away from becoming a more complete player. Still tho, I’m glad I was wrong about the pick, elerson smith was the guy I wanted and I thought he was more NFL ready and possesses the prototypical eagle defense edge type size. That said, I keep reading that Rumph is really intelligent even teaching the defense to other players so that says something right there.

So it's not a shock that he is teaching the defense. We have another coach's son playing LB as a rookie. He's out of Iowa, a team captain on Iowa's rowdy Big Ten defense. Special teams this year, but he's one to watch develop. Ball hawk, pre-snap reader, sure tackler. Round 6 (185, from Jaguars through Titans) - Nick Niemann, LB, Iowa

Charger's new preseason uniforms. And I’m all for it!! 😬 The best work that the Chargers will get are next week’s joint practices with the 49ers, and truth be told it’s been that way for several years as the best work they had gotten was the joint practices with the Saints. Preseason games are quickly transforming into exercises in giving rookies some needed game action and determining the final roster.
