Chopper31, you’re right. Color me impressed. Hope they can win the series I was hoping for “nailed it”, but I guess I’ll settle for “you’re right”. If it comes down to depth, the Heat will win the series. But if Boston can provide a healthy starting 5 for enough games, they can win their 18th NBA Championship (prepare yourself). I will say though, while my Champion comes out of the East prediction is locked in, I really hope it’s not the Celtics that I need to put my faith in. They’ve been playing with this core for years, and even had some additional talent along with them in years past (Kyrie, Hayward, Kemba) but never could get out of the East. If this isn’t the year they get it done, then it may never happen. Their golden opportunity presented itself in Round 2 when it became a certainty that they would not have to worry about game planning against (3x All Star & Olympic Gold Medalist) Khris Middleton. Can’t expect breaks like that every year, so it’s important to capitalize…

Golden State for it all.
Something tells me Boston in the East. But Miami is a good under the radar story.

Above the norm for Bam Strus and Tucker. Tatum was horrible. Brown scored a lot but turned the ball over multiple times. I wouldn’t bank on that. Props to Miami tho. I never thought they win without a 30+ game from Butler.

Bam went back to his usual sub par self and Butler pulled a disappearing act. Meanwhile Tatum had his usual game after that putrid game 3 outing and didn’t really need much else but Brown and the others didn’t suck like Miami. Weird series.

I’ll say you were right for one game. Bam back to his “usual sub par self” ? C’mon now Butler has always been streaky…40 points one night, 8 the next. That’s just who he is. The one thing you can always count on with him, is to be an elite closer. He plays at a superhuman level on both sides of the ball in the final minutes of close games. 18 combined points from their starting 5…WOW ! Definitely can’t respect that, and Smart wasn’t even out there defending…

The Boston Miami series has been a disappointment to this point. Bad play on both sides for long stretches. Weird series

Agree…but I also don’t consider him a “superstar”, and I don’t think he does himself either. As far as pay scale, he makes the same that Middleton does, so he (Jimmy) is a little overpaid well. Good for him though !

By under the radar I mean no star power, and they are still good. They have Butler, and Butler, and Butler. That is also why they will lose the series. Boston has the best starting 5 in the NBA, and stars will rise like cream in the tub. GS/Boston final.

Miami has more players on their roster that are/have been All Stars, and nearly twice as many collective All Star appearances. If you really wanna state something accurate, try going with, you don’t follow basketball….

That doesn't check out at all--------you can't deny Boston has the superior starting 5, so you avoided it completely out of pure fear. Who does Toronto play next series ?

The first sentence of your post checks out (for a change). But the rest is just a bunch of gibberish (as usual).

Gotta bunch of has beens like your guy Lowry (back to back ofers) and fringe guys like Robinson who may, due to the weakness of east in the 2010’s been “all stars” in name only. Butler now looks broken down as well and Bam has hit the front of the rim so many times I can’t believe he is still shooting. I am starting to wonder whether Butler is throwing the games. Jimmy no buckets. Miami doesn’t have near the squad that Boston does. Even Freak can see that.
