Tashaun knows Gus & does not like his scheme. No chance. The buzz is fake news. What about Malik? Does Malik like him? Does he like Malik?

I wonder if TT can double down on this ......go get our star Free Safety, and bring Addae back on the cheap to back up Derwin James at Strong Safety.................hmmmmmmmmmmmmm......genius minds pondering together....... Maybe not...it could well be the Bolts Brass is just as tired of Addae's launching and whiffing as the rest of us...whether he plays in the box or not... Hey, you don't like Addae and are happy he got released. Obsessing over who you hate is your right. Loving a guy our team drafted and played for years here getting cut is your right as well. String out 100 more posts of hate. That's your freedom. The Business of Cap sees less and less players ever see the end of their contracts anymore, that's why big names are popping up now in FA. Safeties are raining out of the sky, and the Chargers saved 5 million dollars on their Cap by releasing Addae. His experiment at FS was bad. Not his fault he is a SS, and he tried THEIR experiment. TT, Lynn etc have said "Really hard decision......Great locker room guy.....We drafted him......Tone setter for the team.......etc" Nothing but great things for Addae. Remember, our rookies have to learn the NFL way, and day one Addae was assigned to Derwin James. There are reasons for that. It's a business where they saved 5 million. If money and roster conditions are right, you best better believe they would sign him back for less money.

Same cool story applies, bro.

Addae reached his ceiling, and that was far closer to the average safety's floor than most like. As TT improves the talent on this roster, these moves are to be expected.

It could easily be a reassessment following the rules changes.

It could easily be a reassessment following the rules changes. It could also be..... money, the dirty look TT saw, Addae stinking up the executive bathroom, better options, etc etc....

I would caution against blanket catch- phrase answers that do not reflect individual situations. "Reached his ceiling" at what ? In 2017, he was a terrific SS. I actually believe he was a Pro Bowl mention snub that year. They moved him to FS for 2018, and that did not play too well at all. Ceiling and Floor for him may have been SS and FS.

It could easily be a reassessment following the rules changes. It could also be..... money, the dirty look TT saw, Addae stinking up the executive bathroom, better options, etc etc.... That money is a huge factor. Save 5 million against the Cap, and hey, maybe we'll catch you on the low in the second round of free agency. They said it was a hard decision, but I believe it was the right decision. TT has to make business decisions for the team.

The only player they have released if JA. I'm thinking that means they are trying to sign the rest of our free agents. If they want to keep them - they better make a splash today.

Travis Benjamin may still be around because they do not have a Ty Williams answer...............Benjamin's Cap hit is too high, but they may be boxed in................. I am hearing Tyrell Williams free agency stock is skyrocketing. Teams are wondering if he isn't Number 1 WR material, I am hearing 10 Million a year and higher numbers are being thrown around................right now, he's HOT
