He has digressed. Not sure if its sophomore blues, or teams have figured him out, or the coaches are doing a bad job of utilizing his talent despite the opposing teams figuring him out and applying the right pressure. He was the AFC Off. Player of the Week last week LOL. You can say he's showing inconsistency, but I'm not ready to discard him completely. agree. I wasn't bashing him as lost at all. Clearly there are problems, where they are coming from is a guess. I doubt its herbert specifically. They sure have gotten away from what they were doing when they started. He cannot have the whole team on his shoulders. OR was a dumpster fire when he tried. It looks to me as if the bolts are placing it on him, which would be a lombardi issue.

I read a very good take on this, before you posted the same good take: It went like Herbert has too much on his plate and the coach needs to take some off.

just read your earlier post. great minds... Our minds combined are not a goalie's mind. Real genius there. I am in question of your having a mind at all...... So the 'blame' is on Lombardi.....not Herbert or even perhaps Staley? **** and so many thought it was TT's fault.

We win, it was TT, Herbert, Staley, Lombardi, etc were GREAT !!!!!! Love love love. Lose, and the blame gets wide spread, fast !

In Philly they showed something new and effective by featuring the TEs. Parham, Anderson and Cook all had good games. Against Minnesota they forgot what worked in Philly. Parham is a mismatch every time. Yet they rarely go to him. MW is apparently easy for defenses to take away. So we have Keenan and Ek. Guyton has butterfingers, I don’t know what Palmer is but I do know that Anderson and Parham should get more balls.

Yes, there have been games where Herbert, or a collective of players, have played so poorly that the loss is on the players side......but those seem rare. Staley needs to get back to what made him the interesting choice....utilizing the unique strengths of his players. Staley and Lombardi need to get outside the box in their game planning.....and play calling....on both sides of the ball.

Jaguars have waived WR Tyron Johnson does he secretly stab people in the locker room ? Maybe we need that.............................

The biggest indicators of the coaching issues are bad scheming and poor player performance (including mistakes). Discipline and strategy are lacking.
