On paper the Chargers should win handily. (Take the over) The boltz will put up another 'W' and get the win streak going through December. The NY Gnats will get the 'L' and strive for the top five draft pick.  |

This is a prototypical trap game set up following a big road win against a playoff contender followed by a potential division lead-deciding nationally televised game coming up four days later.
No taking the foot off the gas and reverting to their inconsistent performances on Sunday. It’s a big game against the Giants that will be followed by a bigger game, so this is where Staley needs to earn his paycheck by keeping the team focused on putting forth a solid effort in all three game phases. If they do, it should be the first comfortable W of the season (with the emphasis on “should be”).
