Absolutely ridiculous... This loss was on Staley 100%... Stop leaving points on the board and go for some field goals, analytics be damned. Staley's defense isn't much better.

Just not good enough on defense, and some decisions Staley probably wants to do differently. Next year. two dropped TD's ? non taken FG's may have changed the outcome. KC has been playing hot lately, and Bolts took it to OT, and by all accounts had they taken the points maybe the outcome is different

I was able to see from 3rd quarter till the end. The game was decided on the OT coin flip and it did not have to.
I wonder if the analytic's data are being skewed by Staley pushing the boundary. Hopefully he learns from this.

Hopefully he learns from this. Those "Anal"ytics are not perfect because it does not take into account the match ups or how a team is playing at the time. So the dice rolls that went his way early are starting to come up snake eyes. Need to que that Kenny Rodgers song...Gambler

I think our team can play and beat any team in the NFL. Our first drive went from touchdown to tragedy in 1 second. It really effected all of the players.
our run game was great, our O line did great. Our defense simply ran out of gas in the 4th quarter.
I don't mind the 4th downs. Yeah we win if we take the field goals but I like the mindset and I like Staley's reasoning. This dude is a great coach and as he gets some experience his approach on 4th down may get a bit more nuanced.
We will be in the Playoffs this year and who knows what happens then.
Lets go!
