We have high hopes for next year with draft and big Cap. But I'm here to tell ya. I will NOT give up on this year, or this team. The Chiefs definitely do not want to play the Boltz in post season. Chargers can beat them, and the whole world knows it. That was my thought as well. I do not want to face NE, but I have no problem with KC.

I think our team can play and beat any team in the NFL. Our first drive went from touchdown to tragedy in 1 second. It really effected all of the players.
our run game was great, our O line did great. Our defense simply ran out of gas in the 4th quarter.
I don't mind the 4th downs. Yeah we win if we take the field goals but I like the mindset and I like Staley's reasoning. This dude is a great coach and as he gets some experience his approach on 4th down may get a bit more nuanced.
We will be in the Playoffs this year and who knows what happens then.
Lets go!
Just as a matter of discussion, that doesn't add up to me. As a matter of perspective, you pull that shit with Belichick and you can start you early Mock drafts. You will pay the pied piper. Much like we did last night.

I don't mind the mindset either... But don't be stupid about it. You have to have some balance, its not about scoring TD's, its about scoring points. Like I said, Staley is not ready to be a HC but we're stuck with him until he learns or the fans turn on him like they did Lynn.

Mahomes is overrated, as is the KC club......
Chargers are getting close....still need a few pieces....
Staley has embraced the analytics to the point of no return.....
Hopkins has quieted the entire kicker discussion....probably should use him to win....

We need a few more talented pieces, especially since we now have to compensate for an aggressive analytics driven coach that insists on making things difficult for his team.

Staley wants to keep his foot on the gas. (A good thing) Staley knows you cannot win games with FGs when the other team scores TDs. (True) IMO, Staley's problem is his use of analytics to overcome his lack of experience. Other teams are getting smart on Staley's approach and are preparing for Charger's inevitable 4rth & short plays.

The Chargers really would benefit from having a star level talent at ILB......might be nice to see Bosa and James make a difference while it still matters.

That was not the case last night including our kick returner opening the game up with an 80 yard run and coming away with ZERO points. He took 12 points off the board in a 6 point loss. Bottom line.

You were in an empty arena. Not good. NFL has gone to enhanced protocols too. One of them is no team meals. You have to grab-n-go food. No, it isn't good. I get the feeling we are heading to a shutdown....and strangely enough we have that 3 week window of no games (Olympics). I just do not see any player going to China, with the risk of covid rising, and the inability to leave.
