An individual to clear protocol must meet other qualifications beyond the five days since their initial positive test, per a memo to all 32 teams obtained by Pelissero. An individual must clear at least 24 hours since their last fever without the aide of fever-reducing medication; other symptoms must be "resolved or improved"; individual must be cleared by team doctor in consultation with ICS and NFL; and any local regulations or requirements have been satisfied." Having 51 players out last week comes to mind..........In a loss. That Ekeler said was for leaders being out for Covid. Are you calling Ekeler a liar ?

Drew Locke at QB with these WR’s. This is starting to look awfully similar to last week's optimism about the opponent we would be playing. That didn't turn out so well.  Please Staley, don't read this news- don't think we can cakewalk this opponent. You need to go all out and have this team PREPARED and motivated to win big. Not a close win, not a last-minute drive, not a missed FG by the Broncos- go out and take a 51 point lead into halftime!

The Chargers were in the same situation last week as the Broncos are this week: lots of starters (and three Pro Bowlers) heading to the Covid list. The Chargers are getting those key missing starters back while the Broncos starters are heading in the opposite direction. Regardless, anything less than an ultra-strong effort by the Chargers players & coaching staff coming off of that embarrassing effort last week will be the death knell of this roster other than keeping key young pieces together in 2022. |
