Respect is earned... When your run defense is as bad as ours and you make the Texans look like a Superbowl contender, then yea expect some shade.

Frankly, the team needs to earn respect and trust not only of the opposing teams, but the fans. Be a consistently good, competitive, disciplined team for more than 2 seasons — not just 2 or 3 games in between collapses — and that will go a long way to that end. |

Pretty much why they get considered pretenders.....enough talent, but inconsistent as it gets.

The Chargers have a long history of coming up short. This is exactly why they don't deserve the respect of proven winners in the league. It's real simple, win a Superbowl and it all goes away.

I thought that was a great analysis.

I thought that was a great analysis. I might replace “simple” with “fundamental and necessary” but otherwise agree. |
